The purpose for which Stuart Investments (SI) is organized is exclusively for the charitable and educational purposes. The purpose of SI is to offer students at the Illinois Institute of Technology the opportunity to develop their skills in the fundamental valuation of equity securities in a team environment. Teams are comprised of a sector leader, senior and junior analysts. Each will do research on equity securities and make a presentation with a recommendation to SI about a particular stock on a weekly basis. If a recommendation results in purchasing a security, the students will monitor, track and calculate the returns on each holding. The position will be sold upon reaching a return target or risk limit, or upon a significant change in the fundamental attributes of the company.

1. The fund is a student-managed investment portfolio based upon security analysis using money.
2. Student analysts will develop their equity valuation, portfolio management, teamwork and presentation skills.
3. The fund is a not-for-profit organization.
4. The returns will be re-invested, with a small portion being set aside for scholarships.
